I am super excited for my holiday mini sessions in Colorado Springs! Christmas mini sessions for 2023 are coming up very soon, and in anticipation, I wanted to share a few photos from last year to get us all in the holiday spirit and give you an idea of what these sessions can be like.
Last Year’s Holiday Mini Sessions
These adorable kiddos were dressed up perfectly for holiday photos. I love the variety of colors their mom styled them in. So cute! When people ask what to wear for winter family photos, I steer them away from matching outfits and towards coordinating colors that fit the vibe of their session. This mom did that perfectly! None of her children were wearing the same colors, but the outfits all worked together beautifully. I mean, these kids look like a Christmas card!
I really loved this indoor set at a local natural light studio. It was gorgeous! They change the set every year so that returning clients can have a nice variety for their Christmas photos and holiday cards. I’m excited to see what this year’s sets are like!
Indoor vs. Outdoor Holiday Photos
While my outdoor holiday sessions in Colorado Springs (held at a local Christmas tree farm) are definitely my most popular option for seasonal photos, I love offering indoor photos too. It gets awfully cold here, and as a Colorado Springs family photographer, I want to be sure that everyone has the option for gorgeous holiday pictures, even if braving freezing temperatures isn’t an option for you. An indoor shoot can be a better choice for families with babies and toddlers, or just for anyone who isn’t a huge fan of the cold!
