I’m so excited to share some of this year’s Christmas tree farm photos! It’s become an annual tradition that each year I do Christmas mini sessions at a local tree farm in or around Colorado Springs, and it is always my most anticipated weekend in the calendar.
Usually these holiday photos are a one-day event, but this year I had so many families sign up that I ended up splitting these sessions into two afternoons. No complaints here! I love seeing so many of my clients over the holidays and helping them celebrate with these special Christmas tree farm family photos. They’re perfect for cards or gifts!
My Favorite Spot for Christmas Tree Photos in Colorado Springs
Heidrich’s Colorado Tree Farm Nursery is always so accommodating with allowing me to do photo sessions on their beautiful property. I’ve been shooting here for about four years now and have been so happy with their communication and friendliness. Whether you’re looking for family photos or a Christmas tree, this is definitely the place to do it!
Heidrich’s always gets their Christmas trees in the weekend before Thanksgiving, which means I have to run my Christmas mini sessions on a pretty tight schedule, as this is also the only weekend it works for me to shoot here. They are also closed the Sunday before Thanksgiving, which means that my clients and I have the place to ourselves and don’t have to worry about customers accidentally photo-bombing our shots! It makes for a very private, fun experience for families who book. We have also been really lucky with weather conditions on this particular weekend and it’s always worked out great.
