I always love doing in-home newborn photography. There is something so special about capturing those earliest memories of your little one in the familiar surroundings of your own living room, bedroom, or nursery. And this unique and gorgeous Denver home newborn session was even more memorable for me than usual, because mom and dad are family friends. I was so thrilled to be one of the first people to meet their baby girl!
Denver, CO At-Home Newborn Photo Session
One of my favorite parts of being a Denver CO newborn photographer is connecting with people as they enter a new phase of life. And when it’s people I’ve known in the past, it’s even better. Not only do I get to congratulate them and share memories as all friends do, but it’s such a huge honor to be entrusted with capturing these sweet family memories as well.
Sweet Baby Girl
This lovely family was so sweet to work with, and the session went SO smoothly. Baby girl slept almost the entire time and was totally cooperative. I always expect to take about 15 or 20 minutes wrapping and swaddling babies in the beginning, getting them nice and settled. But with these in-home baby girl newborn photos I was able to get started right away. What a treat!
A Home Designed for Beauty and Comfort
Another thing that made me just fall in love with this session is the fact that baby’s grandma is an interior designer and custom home designer. I could see her loving and experienced touch all throughout this immaculate and beautifully decorated home! All of the pretty details, from paint color and light fixtures right down to gallery walls made this such a unique and gorgeous in-home newborn session.
If you’re not an interior designer, don’t worry! I can still capture lovely memories of your little one in a small or simple space with just a window or two for natural light. I always keep the focus on the most important things: your sweet baby and your connection as a family.
