This family had the most gorgeous home for newborn photos! As a Peyton CO in-home newborn photographer I’ve seen lots of beautiful nurseries and living spaces, but I knew as soon as I stepped into this space that the photos were going to be truly special. And I was right!
Natural Light Newborn Photos At Home
I usually hold most of my at-home newborn photography sessions in the nursery. This is where you’ll be spending a lot of time with your little one, so it just makes sense to use that space to document these sweet memories. Plus, if you’ve created a beautifully decorated room for your little one, why not use it as the perfect backdrop for your newborn pictures?
Baby boy’s nursery was wonderfully decorated with lovely artwork and furniture. Best of all, it had plentiful natural light, which made my job easy!
We also did some photos in the living room—which was just as cozy and inviting as the nursery. The colors in their home were neutral, and the artwork and other décor gave the area such a great character. Clean, neutral colors plus pops of décor that show your family’s style: it’s my favorite combination for an in-home session! Great light in here too. We didn’t need to bring in any other light sources—it’s all natural—and I’m so happy with the way these photos turned out!
