Family Photoshoot at The Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs

I absolutely loved doing this family photoshoot at the Broadmoor Hotel! If you’re not familiar with it, the Broadmoor is an amazing resort tucked close to the mountains here in Colorado Springs. While people travel all over the world to visit the Broadmoor (it’s an especially popular destination for weddings) I feel so lucky that it’s only a short drive from my home.

This beautiful family was gathered at the Broadmoor for a weekend work conference and little reunion, which made it the perfect time to get photos all together! I’m so glad they made the time to do that. Life feels very busy so much of the time, and it’s not always easy to coordinate everything. But it’s so worth it to capture these kinds of special memories!

One thing to note if you’re getting family photos done at the Broadmoor is that you must be staying at the hotel as a guest in order to get an approval pass for family photos on the hotel grounds. So if you’re planning a trip to stay at the Broadmoor, whether for a special event or just a well-deserved vacation, it’s a great idea to look into scheduling family photos there as well. The manicured grounds, mountain views, and the resort itself all make for such a spectacular background!

I think my favorite area of this resort is the South Lake side near the golf course. We did a lot of our Broadmoor family photos here, and also ventured around the grounds a bit to find some spring blossoms. So pretty!
