The Goff family’s session took place at Cottonwood Creek in Colorado Springs, where the fall colors were in full display. With golden leaves lining the trails and soft sunlight filtering through the trees, the location offered the perfect seasonal backdrop for capturing heartfelt family moments. And of course, the creek! I love a family photo location with water—it just brings in an element of beauty that you can’t get any other way. Plus, kids love to splash, so it’s perfect for allowing them to take breaks and capturing some candid shots while we’re at it.
